We have been informed that DHHS discovered a data issue with the DAAS Audit Confirmation information due to the consolidation of NCAS and NCFS data for FY24. These reports have now been updated. The updated reports are on the confirmation website at NC DHHS Controller: Audit Confirmation Reports 23-24.
Considering this delay in aging confirmations, the staff of the LGC has decided to extend the date to require a contract amendment from 12/1/24 to 12/15/24 for units reporting Aging funding on their Schedule of Expenditures of Federal and State Awards.
We encourage those who use these Audit Confirmations to make sure the DAAS information is accurate using other information available at the unit of government. We would recommend printing a more recent copy of the DHHS-DAAS information from DHHS Audit Confirmation website.
